Rashakai Interchange
The Rashakai town is an important area for so many reasons but this town gained much importance in 2007 when an interchange of the M1 Motorway was constructed in Rashakai. The Rashakai interchange provides paths for Nowshera, Mardan and other parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, i.e., Swat, Malakand, Buner, Chitral, and Dir.
Rashakai Cloth Market
Before the construction of Rashakai Interchange, the small town of Rashakai was famous because of a cloth market (Shireen Kotay). It was considered to be among the top cloth markets in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (also in some other parts of Pakistan), it still growing but time to time many other cloth markets have emerged in Rashakai Cloth Market.
Economy
The Economic activity of Rashakai Town focused on the cloth market and with the passage of time they started providing fuel to vehicles entering the M1 Rashakai Interchange. A few fuel stations provide CNG, petrol, and diesel to vehicles and side by side maintenance and washing services.
Agriculture and Transport Business is also among the Main economic activities of the Rashakai Town.

Rashakai Technology City
As we already discussed that Rashakai Town has so much importance, but now we are going to inform you that Rashakai is not as before anymore. After the CPEC project, Rashakai Town named as Rashakai Technology City because of its importance. This name is given due to the fact that 1000s of technology related projects will be processed here.
Rashakai Economic Zone
There will be an Economic Zone built in this town by the government due to which it also has given the name as Rashakai Economic Zone.
Today Rashakai Market is considered as one of the big markets in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as it contains almost everything you need in daily life.
